What do you get when you add horses, trail rides, children and a seven-day outdoor holiday camp? The answer is lots and lots of fun! Kiah Park is nestled in the beautiful hills of the Beenam Valley, just north of Noosa and the Sunshine Coast. We offer an amazing horse-riding holiday for children, full of well-supervised activities and safe learning experiences from dawn to dusk. Each child is given the privilege of caring for, riding, and getting to know their very own horse. We go out on twice-daily trail rides over a large variety of scenic routes, complete with designated spots for our confident riders to feel the wind and break into a canter! Whether your child is new to horses or is a competitive rider, every holiday at Kiah Park is bound to be full of wonderful adventures and lasting friendships.
Here at Kiah Park, we love engaging school-aged children in the fresh excitement of spending time outdoors. We offer seven-day camps during the school holidays as well as shorter camps over long weekends throughout the year. For those who just want to come and spend a great day out, we also run Day Trips on specified days throughout the holidays. We focus on horse-riding, taking the children on trail rides twice a day through our stunning, hilly acreage. The children also learn to care for their horses and have opportunity to feed and enjoy all our friendly farm animals. We follow an active and busy schedule to provide the children with a great range of outdoor fun, including challenge team activities, camp fires with damper roasting and a fun gymkhana at the climax of the week. You don’t need any previous horse-riding experience to enjoy a wonderful time at Kiah Park, as lessons are incorporated into our program for new riders.
